This policy explains what Calvo collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers our website and the AI calling agents we build and operate for our clients.

Who we are

Calvo builds and operates custom-trained AI voice agents that answer, qualify, and route inbound calls for businesses. Calvo was formerly known as Digivixo.

For information collected through our own website and sales process, Calvo is the data controller. For call data processed on behalf of a client whose phone line we answer, Calvo acts as a processor and that client is the controller.

Information you give us

When you book a demo or email us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and whatever else you choose to include in your message.

When you become a client, we collect the operational details needed to build your agent: your services, hours, pricing logic, escalation rules, and the questions your callers typically ask.

Information collected automatically

Our website records standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring page. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell website analytics data.

Call recordings and transcripts

When a Calvo agent answers a call, we process the audio of that call in order to understand the caller and respond. Depending on the client's configuration, we may store the recording, a transcript, and structured metadata such as call time, duration, outcome, and whether the call was escalated to a person.

This data belongs to the client whose line the agent answers. We process it only to deliver and support the service, and to improve the accuracy of that client's own agent.

Recording and transcription are subject to the call-recording laws that apply where the caller and the business are located. Clients are responsible for ensuring appropriate notice and consent is given on their lines; we provide the configuration needed to do this.

How we use information

To build, train, operate, and support the agent a client has engaged us for.

To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.

To monitor reliability, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse or fraud.

To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use one client's call data to train a shared or general-purpose model used for other clients.

Sharing and service providers

We share information with the service providers that make the product work — telephony, speech processing, language model inference, cloud hosting, and error monitoring. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.

A current list of subprocessors is available to clients on request.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Retention

Website enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the relationship.

Call recordings, transcripts, and metadata are kept for the period agreed with each client, and are deleted or returned when the engagement ends. Clients can request earlier deletion at any time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and is logged.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify affected parties as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email us. If your data was processed on behalf of one of our clients, we will refer the request to that client and support them in answering it.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to serve and secure the pages. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

Calvo is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and will revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting clients will be communicated directly.
